About Me

I am running for Elementary Member Representative because I believe elementary teachers deserve representation that is grounded in listening, thoughtful communication, and a deep understanding of classroom realities.

Elementary schools are complex, dynamic places, and the voices of classroom teachers matter in shaping decisions at the Local level. I am committed to representing those voices with care, clarity, and integrity.

I am currently a Grade 5 classroom teacher and learning leader with experience supporting students and colleagues in diverse elementary school contexts. My work has included collaboration with classroom teachers, support staff, and school leadership to navigate the increasing complexity of teaching and learning in today’s classrooms.

Through this work, I have developed a strong appreciation for the challenges elementary teachers face and the importance of clear communication, shared problem-solving, and advocacy. These are values I would bring to the role of Elementary Member Representative.
